Definitely the biggest event on the Vic Foodie's calendar. The Melbourne Food & Wine Festival 2008 begins on February 22nd and continues for two weeks, with a program filled with a huge array of over 200 diverse events across the City and regional Victoria.

In 2008, the Festival – which is the largest of its kind anywhere in the world – shimmers with its most impressive line up yet of 13 international chef stars, and the best of Australia’s home talent. Expect gastronomic superstars like Michel Roux (UK), Gilles Choukroun (France), Oriol Balaguer (Spain) and Gabrielle Hamilton (US) to pair with Melbourne might like Shannon Bennett (Vue de monde) and George Calombaris (The Press Club) at Langham Melbourne MasterClass.
